“Sacred Reciprocity”

July 8-12th, 2026 Tena, Ecuador

Unplug, exhale, and remember who you are in the heart of the Amazon.

Join us in Tena, on the edge of the Amazon rainforest, for a deeply immersive yoga retreat designed to reconnect you with nature, community, and your own inner rhythm. This retreat invites you to slow down, breathe deeper, and experience yoga beyond the mat—surrounded by lush jungle, flowing water, and ancient wisdom.

  • In Andean and Amazonian wisdom, it’s the practice of giving back to the Earth as generously as she gives to us.
On this retreat, we explore reciprocity through yoga, ceremony, vegan nourishment, and mindful adventure—letting every breath, step, and choice become an offering.

  • Set within a secluded rainforest setting near Tena, our retreat unfolds in harmony with the land. Expect daily yoga practices held in an open-air shala overlooking the forest canopy, nourishing vegetarian meals prepared with intention, and space—real space—to rest, reflect, and listen.

Each day is thoughtfully curated, balancing structured offerings with spacious free time so you can explore, integrate, or simply be.

    • Daily Yoga Practices
Morning and evening sessions blending movement, breathwork, meditation, and mindful rest—accessible yet meaningful for experienced practitioners and curious beginners alike.

    • Immersive Nature Setting
Wake up to birdsong, practice surrounded by towering trees, and unwind beside natural pools and jungle pathways.

    • Gourmet Vegetarian Cuisine
Fresh, organic meals inspired by the land—crafted to support your practice, energy, and overall well-being.

    • Sacred & Somatic Experiences
Opportunities may include sound healing, cacao ceremony, guided meditation, and ancestral rituals rooted in local tradition.

    • Optional Jungle Adventures
Guided hikes, waterfall visits, clay therapy, river excursions, and cultural experiences are available for those craving adventure and exploration.

    • Intentional Community
Shared meals, meaningful conversations, and collective experiences that foster genuine connection—without pressure or pretense.

  • Guests will stay in eco-conscious lodging designed to blend seamlessly with the rainforest environment. Rooms are simple, comfortable, and intentionally crafted to support rest and immersion in nature. Shared and limited private options will be available.

Capacity is intentionally limited to preserve the integrity of the experience.

Getting There

Guests traveling from the United States will fly from major hubs such as DFW or Miami into Mariscal Sucre International Airport in Quito. Most international flights require one connection, with Miami often offering the most direct route into Ecuador.

Upon arrival in Quito, group ground transportation will be arranged to take you to Tena. This scenic drive takes approximately four to five hours and winds through the Andes before descending into the Amazon basin. Rather than viewing this as a transfer, we see it as part of the retreat experience—a gradual transition into the slower rhythm of the rainforest and an opportunity to connect with fellow participants along the way.

All travel-day logistics, including timing, group transfers, and arrival coordination, will be overseen by our retreat team. Matt Smith will be your on-the-ground travel support and liaison. Prior to departure, Leanne Schulz will manage operations and be available to assist with flight planning, recommended arrival windows, and any travel-related questions you may have.

From the moment you book to the moment you arrive in the jungle, you’ll be guided with care. Our goal is for you to feel confident, informed, and supported—so by the time you reach Tena, you’re already settled into retreat mode.

Meet the Team

Good Vibes Yoga retreats are immersive experiences designed to nourish your body, quiet your mind, and reconnect you with what matters — through movement, nature, community, and purpose.

We gather in thoughtfully chosen destinations, slow the pace, soften the edges, and create space for presence, reflection, laughter, and rest. These are retreats where mornings feel unhurried, conversations feel real, and time feels like it opens instead of closes.

And along the way, we give back.

Giving back is woven into every Good Vibes Yoga retreat.

We commit 1% of our annual retreat proceeds to national park preservation and wildlife rescue efforts, supporting the protection of the natural spaces that hold and inspire us. In every destination we visit, we also partner with a local organization in need — spending a day volunteering with them and donating 10% of that retreat’s proceeds directly to their cause.

It’s our way of practicing gratitude in action, and ensuring that our retreats leave places better than we found them..

These retreats are for people who want to:

  • Spend a few days slowing down and giving themselves real rest and care

  • Deepen their yoga practice in a new environment, supported and unhurried

  • Experience yoga in a beautiful place, with time to breathe, reflect, and reset

  • Meet kind, open-hearted people and build meaningful new friendships

  • Have fun, laugh, explore, and feel inspired by the people and places around them

  • Be part of an experience that gives back and leaves a positive impact

You don’t need to be flexible. You don’t need to be experienced. You just need a little curiosity, a little openness, and the willingness to show up for yourself.
